‘the wind blow wherever it likes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell from where it comes and where it goes: so is everyone that is born of the spirit..’ ( 1 John 3:8)

In discussing gifts, much focus is laid upon the different offices and ranks of ministry such as Pastor, Bishop, Evangelist and Teachers. The Holy Spirit, however, is unlimited in his operations and thus uses all kinds of people in all kinds of ways – both inside and outside of the church. Therefore people, movements,systems and projects can all be a gift to the body of Christ.

This module studies these unique operations. In particular, it will study personality, availabilty, adaptability within organizations, historic special operations and unique manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It may be impossible to understand all the workings of the Spirit but we can at least have a greater understanding of the workings of the Holy Spirt and learn to flow with him, take our part in his purpose and recognise his operations in the world and our institutions.
