Philosophy doesn’t necessarily provide answers but is good at providing tools for investigation. It also represents man’s attempts to understand a range of questions such as Phenomenology, Epistemology, Existentialism and Idealism etc.

It is an important study to enable the student to understand the history of thought and how and where God fits in. At the end of this module the student will have a good understanding of historical philosophy and how it contrasts with Theology
